Well, it’s been a minute. Or maybe 5 months.
I’ve been asked a lot in the last few months if I am still blogging. I have not forgotten this thing!
To put a long story short and be only mildly vulnerable on the internet, January was incredibly hard for me. It was a tough combo of S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder) and culture shock (apparently it’s very standard to dip at about 5-6 months in when all the excitement and shine of your new home has worn off). I hit a real low.
With some time, perspective, and good friends, I’m now feeling significantly better (I also got Vitamin D shots from the doctor – would recommend!). But the events and travels and things all piled up, and writing here was pushed to the side!
I have a lot of photos, stories, and thoughts on my time in Korea and Asia from the last few months, some of which I’ll be trying to post here, some of which you may just have to buy me a beer when I’m back in America in a few weeks (end of June, wowza) to get.
Lots more life updates (and changes from previous plans) also coming soon…
Stay tuned.
We love you! Glad you are feeling better. ♥️
Awesome looking shrimp!! Wow!! So sorry you were having a tough time—but you are definitely a survivor & figured out what you needed & GOT IT! Love hearing from you again, but realize you are super busy. It’ll be great to hear all about you & your experiences. We are about 2/3 done having the new babies & everyone is doing great, so it’s a gorgeous time in SD. Take care.
